[starttext]This is our 6 month old daughter having Infantile Spasms. Infantile
Spasms are a type of seizures - the seizures come in waves, numerous
seizures spread out over several minutes. This video shows about 4
minutes of the seizures occurring, from start to finish. The seizures
are occurring when she suddenly jerks her hands and arms outward (we
called it a "startled" reflex). While sometimes the cause can be found
for the seizures, in some cases the cause is unknown. For our daughter,
the cause is still not known.
